A chiropractor is a health care professional, who after 8 years of post-secondary education is licensed in the assessment and management of muscular, skeletal and mechanical disorders of the body. A chiropractor's main treatment tool is hands-on therapy, which can consist of manual adjustments, soft tissue mobilization and stretching. Home care and rehabilitation is often part of patient's treatment plan.
